Kerala State Biodiversity Board – Assistant Programe Coordinator

 Kerala State Biodiversity Board is an autonomous body under the Kerala State Government and comes under the State Environment Department. The Head Quarters of the board is at Thiruvananthapuram. The main objective of the board is the conservation and protection of the Agro, Plant and Fish diversity in the State.

The Board is involved in the conservation of biodiversity and its sustainable use and equitable sharing for the commercial use. As a part of the Rebuild Kerala Initiative a one year project on the Conservation of Agro-Biodiversity will be carried out by the Board. To run the project successfully, the board invites application from interested and qualified candidates to the post of Assistant Programe Coordinator. The details of the notification are as follows.

Name of the Project :  Conservation of Agro-Biodiversity 

Name of the Post : Assistant Programe Coordinator

Place of Posting : Palakkad, Pathanamthitta, Malappuram

Age : Below 45 years

Tenure : one year or till the completion of the project which ever is earlier

Remuneration & TA: Rs 20,000/- PM + Rs 5000/- (Maximum ) PM

Qualification :The candidates must be Graduate in Agriculture/ B.V.Sc & AH/ Post Graduation in Botany preferably with one year experience in the field of data collection, biodiversity management and research related to Agriculture.

The applicants must be resident of the respective districts.
