Cochin Port or Kochi Port is a major port on the Arabian sea – Laccadive sea –Indian Ocean sea-route in the city of Kochi and is one of the largest ports in India. The port is governed by the Cochin Port Trust (CoPT), a Government of India establishment. It was established in 1928 and has completed over 90 years of active service.
Cochin Port Trust , Willington Island , Ernakulam invites application for the post of Marine supervisor. The details of the notification are as follows:
Name of the post : Marine supervisor.
No. of vacancies : 1 (One)
Age limit : 35 years as on 16-07-2021 (Age relaxation will be applicable as per Rules)
Remuneration: Consolidated pay of Rs 27600/- Per Month
Mode of Appointment: On contract basis for a period of 1 year
Qualification :
Essential: Should have worked as Petty officer (Executive branch) in Indian Navy / Coast Guard or On Board Merchant Ships on deck side for a period of 7 years.
Passed 12th Std or equivalent
Desirable Qualification: Working knowledge of English / Hindi/ Malayalam
Appointment shall be based on written test and interview.
